History

The beginnings of a visionary

Don Félix Bañuelos , a successful businessman, emigrated to the United States at the age of 17, where he worked for a time. Upon returning to his homeland, he acquired a grocery store which he ran for a couple of years.

Later, he changed course and founded a transportation company in Guadalajara, covering the entire Pacific coast with its routes. Seeing an opportunity in the confectionery industry, he moved to the town of Arandas, Jalisco, and in 1960 started one of Mexico's strongest and most important confectionery companies, Productos de Leche La Vaquita, which he operated until 1979 when it was sold.
